Sony wants to keep things entertaining for the PS Vita owners out there and they are releasing three new and free to download and use apps for their handheld: Paint Park, Treasure Park and Wake Up Club.
Paint Park seems to take a bit of OMGPop’s successful Draw This (or whatever the name of the addicting drawing game is) and bring it to the PS Vita: users are allowed to doodle, sketch and scribble anything they want and share their creations with their friends. More interesting is the fact that you can automatically use the camera of the Vita to take pictures and draw directly on them, which makes things a lot more fun. Here’s an image that shows just one way Paint Park can be used:
Treasure Park is described by Sony themselves and sounds at least strange: “Treasure Park is a puzzle-based app that enables you to connect with friends and other PS Vita owners. Using the near application and 3G or Wi-Fi, you can create and find your own puzzles to play, as well as set bombs and traps for your friends to find or try to avoid. Wherever you are, you will have the ability to team up with friends to earn high scores.” Probably very interesting for those who have a lot of free time on their hands to create these puzzles..
And finally, we have the Wake Up Club free application coming to the PlayStation Vita, a very useful app for the lazy. The interesting thing of this app is that it expands the Alarm Clock of the handheld and allows you to sync it with other users that have their alarm set at the same time. You can set records, test how fast you wake up and compare your results with those of your friends or strangers. Pretty interesting and this will probably make us want to wake up faster, so it’s a big win for us!
What do you think about these three free PS Vita apps?
