Some of you might have played the original game in the Tales from Space series, About a Blob which was released last year via the PSN. Those of you have a pretty good idea what Mutant Blobs Attack is all about, but for everybody else this article should bring on some light and hopefully reveal a bunch of good news.
Tales from Space: Mutant Blobs Attack is a platformer game that doesn’t take itself too seriously and decides to bring some humor to the handheld, as well as some blobs that are prepared to deliver some intense mass destruction.
In Mutant Blobs Attack, the character has some pretty interesting super powers: telekinesis, which translates as “use the touchscreen to move things around in your level” or the Rocket Mode that launches your Blob in space and allows you to control it using a thruster – this one will use the rear touchscreen, meaning that this new game from DrinkBox will use all of the new features introduced by the PlayStation Vita.
And there are even more surprises promised for the release of Tales from Space: Mutant Blobs Attack, but the developers want to keep some secrets to themselves and surprise us on launch day. However, the launch day itself is still to be announced so until we know more we can only look at the first screenshots from the game and hope that it will be released soon:
Tales from Space: Mutant Blobs Attack will be released on PSN only (no boxed version!).
